Local Tanker Driver (non hazmat) Burnett lime inc Eastaboga, AL 36260

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a tanker truck to transport various types of liquids
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Load and unload liquids using appropriate equipment
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and shipments
• Communicate with dispatch regarding any delays or issues
• Adhere to company policies and procedures for safety and compliance

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a commercial driver, preferably with tanker truck experience
• Valid CDL with tanker endorsement
• Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols

Skills:

• Proficient in route driving and navigation
• Ability to load and unload materials using appropriate equipment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to handle unexpected situations on the road
