Mover/Driver Relo van lines Homewood, AL 35209 Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Mover/Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and assisting with the moving process. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have experience in driving commercial vehicles. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive their items safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Safely operate a moving vehicle, including vans and trucks, to transport items to various locations. Assist with loading and unloading items, ensuring they are secured properly during transit. Navigate designated routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during pickups and deliveries. Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks for moving heavy items when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and equipment used in the moving process. Perform routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Experience Previous experience as a van driver or delivery driver is preferred. Familiarity with route driving and navigating local areas effectively. Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients. Background in warehouse operations or commercial driving is advantageous but not required.
