Job Description:

Operating heavy trucks to gather waste from residences inHuntsville, TX Transporting refuse to the assigned disposal sitewhen trucks are full. Safely driving vehicles in residential areasnavigating busy roads, driveways, and alleys in neighborhoods

Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able toperform the following tasks:

• Operates vehicle in accordance with DOT (Department ofTransportation) requirements as well as all local, state, andfederal laws.
• Performs pre
• and post-trip inspections of assigned vehiclesand document checks utilizing the standard DVIR (Driver VehicleInspection Report).
• Immediately report all unsafe situations or service-relatedissues to the Route Manager or Dispatch.
• Attends and participates in all scheduled training programs,briefings, and meetings as required by Live Oak Environmental ordirected by the Route Manager.
• Works closely with the Route Manager to improve routeefficiencies and identify best practices.
• Notifies Route Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries,or property damage.
• Notifies Route Manager or Dispatch of service interruptionsincluding closed or impassable streets or alleyways, receptaclestoo heavy to service, or potential safety hazards.
• Communicates customer requests to the Dispatch or RouteManager.
• Completely dumps all receptacles and leaves the customer’slocation clean and free of debris.
• Follows route assignments as directed and completes end-of-daydocumentation and check-out process.
• Performs all duties as scheduled by the Route Manager orDispatch and assists other drivers as directed to meet customerneeds.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  None Required.

• Experience:

  One (1) year of experience operating a vehiclerequiring a CDL or equivalent military driving within the last 7years. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, or Other Requirements

• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Hold a current Class A or B Commercial Drivers License with anair brake endorsement.
• Must be at least 18 years of age. Other Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities Required
• None required.
