CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
Candidates who are willing to work a weekend schedule (Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon) are prioritized for immediate hire 2 years of recent verifiable tanker tractor- trailer driving experience Must be able to pass a DOT Physical, Pre-Employment Drug Test and Road Test Must be able to meet all USDOT requirements
Disqualifiers:
More than 3 total Moving Violations in the last 3 years, with no more than 1 Violation in the last 12 months prior to hiring Rollover accidents in a commercial vehicle A DOT preventable-rear end accident More than 1 preventable on-road accident in the last 3 years A reckless / careless driving conviction or plea in the last 3 years A license suspension or revocation for a moving violation in the last 3 years Summary As a Local Hazmat Fuel Hauler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with all regulations. This role requires a valid CDL A with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, along with strong driving skills, particularly in operating tractor-trailers. Your core competencies in commercial driving will be complemented by premium skills in handling tankers. With a focus on safety and reliability, you will play a vital role in our logistics operations, contributing to the smooth delivery of essential fuel products. Responsibilities Operate a tractor-trailer to transport hazardous materials safely and efficiently. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding hazardous materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and cargo. Load and unload materials, utilizing forklifts and other equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to coordinate delivery schedules. Adhere to ALL safety protocols to protect oneself and the environment during transportation.
