The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism while on the road. Duties Operate vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that items are secured properly for transport. Navigate assigned routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation. Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and manual transmission vehicles as needed. Experience Proven experience in commercial driving or courier services is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience with route driving and familiarity with local roads is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job. Prior experience using pallet jacks or similar equipment is a plus.
