Qualifications:
Excellent driving skills. Ability to maintain good internal and external customer relations at all times. Must be age 25 or older due to insurances requirements. Valid Alabama driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must be able to maintain clean driving record throughout employment and meet insurance requirements. Able to pass a HireRight background check. Able to work at least 8-hour days and 40-hour weeks. Some weekends required. All tools provided necessary for job. Strong knowledge of Montgomery County and surrounding area roadways.
Job responsibilities include:
Assist motor-club (AAA, Geico, and Allstate) members in vehicle break down situations. Perform emergency roadside assistance duties in a safe and proficient manner, including wheel lifts and sling towing, use of dollies, winching operations, tire changes/tire plugs, fueling procedures, jump starting and lockouts Abide by DOT regulations Prepare and maintain tow truck, including pre and post shift inspections Ensure the safety of self, member and company equipment. Accurately complete all required documentation for each call Work in various weather conditions; including extreme heat and cold Maintain a professional image. Calculate achievable ETAs by considering all traffic, construction and weather. Hiring 3 + candidates for this role
