Job description Job Title- Customer Site Driver (drive yard truck in site only) The Yard Operations is responsible for overseeing daily trailer movements, yard truck operations, and plant logistics to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations. This role includes operating equipment, supervising drivers, coordinating with logistics teams, ensuring DOT compliance, and addressing any equipment or operational issues.
Essential Functions:
Visit sites as needed to maintain scrap operations. Ensure consistent communication between yard operators to maintain standard productivity levels. Communicate on daily basis between site operators and logistics supervisor to provide each site the correct transportation as needed. Communicate with operators about the status of equipment and maintenance as needed. Maintain a good and constant communication with personnel in charge of each site location and provide with production operations schedules each week. Maintain regular communication with site personnel to provide weekly production schedules and discuss future projects. Coordinate with site guards on software systems and any matters related to Hyundai Materials. Communicate with office personnel regarding weight ticket information and any other relevant matters for each site. – Knowledge and Skill Requirement Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent desired
