Description Thompson Industrial Services , powered by CleanHarbors, is looking for a Class A or B CDL Driver to join theirsafety conscious team! The Class A or B CDL Driver is responsiblefor operation of equipment including, but not limited to Roll OffTrailers and Dry Vans, including physical labor duties. Yourresponsibility will be to manage customer environmental program bypicking up waste at customer facilities and transporting to aThompson Industrial location or other disposal site. The Class A orB CDL Drive r serves as a primary customer contact forenvironmental/hazardous waste.

Rotating shifts,days, nights. OT as needed
EXPERIENCE WITH
Hydroblasting, VacuumTrucks, Warehouse/Manufacturing, General Labor, Production andIndustrial Field experience a plus

Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
Act as safety representativeresponsible for safety policies and procedures of both the companyand the customer, including hands-on information regardingoperations, safety, equipment, emergency response andadministrative functions. Hands-on operation vacuum equipment andhydroblasting equipment. Operation of special equipment, such asUltra High-Pressure pumps. Operate equipment by energizing thepumping equipment and/or any specialized hydroblasting and/orchemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks and cutting equipmentbeing used on the job. May be required to examine surface cleanedto ensure conformance to company and customer specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on company equipment being used on thejob. Perform any and all duties associated with liquid vacs, airmachines and jet rodders. May direct a crew of vacuum technicians.
May transport equipment and personnel to and from customerlocations. Completes pre and post trip inspections, driver’s logsand complies with all other vehicle policy and DOT requirements.
Loading and unloading hoses. Unload vacuum truck at the dump site.
Provide general maintenance in the field. Perform other relatedduties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Specific vocational preparationincluding classroom safety training, on-the-job training andessential experience gained on other jobs.
Language proficiency:
understand English at a level to comprehend safety training andrespond to instructions in emergency situations. Valid driver’slicense, CDL Class A or B and other requirements of company’sdriving policy required when driving company vehicle or usingpersonal vehicle on company business. Smartphone required forElectronic Logging Device. Federal Transportation WorkersIdentification Credential (TWIC) may be required Must beknowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fireextinguishers. Experience operating a vacuum truck. Workingknowledge of operating equipment used in wet and dry vacuums. Whatdoes it take to work for Thompson Industrial? High schooldiploma/GED or equivalent experience Class A or B CDL Licenserequired HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsements, preferred.
