Position Title:
CDL Class A or B Sweeper Truck Operator Position summary:
Must have CDL Class A. Clean MVR. Professional Sweeper Operator/Driver to support area operations. Will operate a Sweeper Truck removes debris, including asphalt and concrete millings, mud and construction materials or highway debris build-up and highway waste. Performs any and all other duties as necessary, but not otherwise specified.
Tasks:
Perform required pre / post-trip inspection of the equipment you would be operating.
Record operating data such as products and quantities, gauge readings, and operating times, manually or using computers.
Maintain proper maintenance of truck and distribute including tire pressure, fluid levels, etc.
Communicate using 2-way radios and verbal communication
Review scheduled route assigned, be proactive in asking questions if route / job is unclear.
Perform the safe operation of a CDL Broom Sweeper Truck.
Complete assigned job(s) in the time allotted while maintaining quality or work.
Report any equipment failures.
Maintain DOT qualifications.
Must be able to work nights, overtime, and weekends as needed within DOT requirements weekly.
Work in varying weather conditions and work environments including dusty, wet, loud noises, etc.
Keep company vehicle clean and orderly, informing management of any safety concerns or vehicle problems.
Comply with all Dunn policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
