Job Description
Hiring Construction Workers with a CDL .
We are seeking an experienced Construction Worker with a CDL, who will be performing construction-related activities, which may include operating a variety of hand and power tools. The ideal candidate will be dependable, trustworthy, results driven, hard-working and be able to demonstrate extraordinary attention to safety, the discipline to work independently, as well as work collaboratively with the R. C. Stevens Team Members and Customers.

Responsibilities:

Drive company truck with a trailer to various job sites thought out the state.

• Constructs, erects, installs, repairs, finishes walls, drywall and building framework using hand and power tools, while conforming to local building codes.

Interprets blueprints, sketches, or building plans in preparation of layout to determine dimensions and type of material required.
Capable of demolition and installation of ceilings, painting, carpeting, tile, and other miscellaneous finishes independently or as part of a team.
Smooths and finishes surfaces of poured concrete using a variety of hand and power tools including floats, trowels, and screeds.
Ability to work nonstandard hours on occasion.
Embrace a “Whatever it Takes” attitude.
Other duties, as may be required.

Qualifications/Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in industrial or commercial facilities work.
Must have an active CDL
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
Knowledge in the safe and appropriate use of hand tools and power tools for demolition and carpentry.

• Proficient alone in reading and understanding blueprints.

Knowledgeable in the assembly/disassembly of concrete forms and the use of concrete pumps, installation of rebar, and placement of concrete is a plus.
Prior Rigging knowledge is a plus.
Experience with leveling tools such as laser levels and transits.
Must have the appropriate tools of the trade.
DFWP / Background Checks Required.
A valid state driver’s license.

Commercial construction: 3 years (Required)

Willingness to travel: 50% (Preferred)
