Job Purpose:
The position of Distribution Driver will ensure that our products are delivered on time and in the proper condition. A Distribution Driver packs and loads products onto trucks before delivering shipments between locations throughout Florida. A Distribution Driver will always adhere exactly to the route and deliver each shipment on time and with a high level of professionalism. All shipments are preformed with two drivers to share driving responsibilities. Delivery days will be typically under 12 hours and product always requires a driver inside the vehicle. Red White and Bloom is a cannabis company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage cash drops per delivery through point of sale Ensure compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product movement procedures Must possess navigational skills to read a map, and locate addresses within designated delivery area Ensure greatest customer satisfaction possible each visit and keep reliable communication
Qualifications:
Driver’s License:
Must Have Previous driver or delivery experience is a plus Must be 21 years of age or older Must be able to pass a fingerprint background check in compliance with OMMU standards
Reliable Transportation Working Conditions:
The position will take place mostly in company provided transport vehicle. Drivers may be asked to arrive at the facility as early as 5:00am 2 drivers are involved in every transport event and driving responsibilities are split between both drivers.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 25 pounds. Required to sit in a vehicle during travel time for most of the working hours. Pay $17 per hour Meal Reimbursement Schedule Part-time Expect 15-35 hours per week. Majority of deliveries will be Monday – Friday, however in rare circumstances drivers may be asked to perform a delivery on weekend days. Delivery schedules will be variable each week, candidates should expect their schedule to change weekly.
