Job Description:
Safely transport either passengers or cargo from one location to another as directed by the Special Projects Coordinator/Summer Program Coordinator. Ensuring that passengers are safe while simultaneously keeping track of navigation, traffic, and timing.
Salary Range:

Special Projects Coordinator and Summer Camp Coordinator Entry Qualifications Required:
Bachelors degree preferred, but experience may substitute for degree. Must be flexible and able to multi-task with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Must be physically able to participate in recreational activities with youth aged 4-12 years old. Must be able to maintain order and ensure safety among groups of children. Florida Driver License, insurance and reliable transportation required.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Follow travel procedures as directed by the Special Project Coordinator including but not limited to checking on and off vehicles using prescribed travel forms and making sure an up-to-date medical release binder is in the vehicle before loading children. Ensuring there is enough gas in vehicle tanks for set destination and filling vehicle gas tanks when necessary while keeping track of the proper paperwork necessary for fuel fill-up. Maintaining cleanliness of vehicles and reporting any mechanical concerns to Special Projects Coordinator. Maintain required data on program participants, including attendance records, sign-on/off, personnel records, and medical records binder when traveling. May be asked to chaperone field trips, ensuring that children are broken into groups of 5-10, with each group supervised by an adult or assigned chaperone. Report all discipline issues to the Summer Camp Coordinator or Special Projects Coordinator. Ensure children are always supervised by a staff member. Follow the incident reporting procedures as appropriate. Assisting in set-up and clean-up of facilities used.
Adhere to direction given regarding separation of duties for purposes of internal controls.
May perform other duties as necessary and assigned.
