Material Handler/Driver II
Location:
Merritt Island, FL Job Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
Aid in the development and integration of suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
Review supplier data to ensure manufacturing-related requirements are met.
Initiate tooling orders based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.
Assist in investigating manufacturing-related issues.
Provide ship side support under guidance of senior teammates.
Skills Required:
High School Diploma/GED/Equivalent required. Associate Degree or trade school in related discipline and/or 1+ years of manufacturing planner, or production experience or a combination of education and experience.
Ability to read blueprints.
Experience with P6 or other GANTT-style schedules.
Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office products).
Understanding of the Manufacturing Engineering Organizational function.
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion
Desired Skills:
1 or more years of relevant manufacturing planning experience in an aerospace company.
Knowledge of GD&T.
Experience with Manufacturing & CAD Software (Jules, CMES, Velocity, Enovia, Delmia, CATIA, CREO, Etc.).
Forklift experience required
