The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, commercial driving regulations, and the ability to operate various vehicles including box trucks and vans. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of customer service. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Qualifications Valid driver’s license required; experience in route driving is a plus. Previous experience in warehouse operations or moving services is advantageous. Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading goods. Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality and reliability.
