The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and goods while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times. The Transport Driver will operate various types of vehicles, including buses, limousines, and paratransit vehicles, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Responsibilities Drive assigned vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading passengers’ belongings or goods. Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle, conducting regular inspections and reporting any maintenance needs. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety at all times. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with passengers, addressing their needs, and resolving any issues that may arise during transit. Document daily vehicle operations, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays. Ensure compliance with all local regulations related to paratransit services, school bus driving, or commercial driving as applicable. Skills Proven experience in driving various types of vehicles, including buses and limousines. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as needed. Knowledge of paratransit operations is a plus. Familiarity with school bus driving regulations is advantageous. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining vehicle records. Ability to work independently while following established protocols for safety and service.
