Our client, a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking a Yard Driver to join their team. As a Yard Driver, you will be part of the operations team supporting daily yard activities. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

$21-23 per hour
What’s the Job?
Safely operate yard tractors and other vehicles to move trailers and containers within the facility.
Position trailers accurately for loading, unloading, and maintenance activities.
Conduct daily inspections of yard equipment and report any issues promptly.
Assist mechanics with basic repair and maintenance tasks, including tire changes and fluid checks.
Maintain a clean and organized yard, ensuring clear pathways for vehicle movement.
What’s Needed?
3-4 years of experience moving and repairing containers, chassis, or trailers.
Familiarity with electrical systems, brake and air systems, and DOT/PM inspections preferred.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 100 lbs.
Strong time management skills and the ability to work productively under strict deadlines.
Valid driver’s license required; Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is desirable but not mandatory.
