Schedule:

3-6am dispatch time (10-12 hour shifts) 5 days US Foodsis one of the largest food distributors with a culture and historyof promoting from within, excellent training programs and acontinuous improvement focus. Main Ingredients of the Job Safelydrive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer deliverytimes Carefully unload products from the trailer with atwo-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designatedcustomer storage areas Verify accuracy of delivery with customersand obtain proper signatures Handle collections and payments fromcustomers when applicable Professionally perform customer serviceresponsibilities to enhance our client experience Perform allpre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection Physical RequirementsAbility to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80 lbs. of productrepetitively during each shift required Comfortable driving andworking in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10 pershift) required What You Bring to the Table Register to the FMCSAClearinghouse• Must be at least 21 years of age Must have valid CDLClass A issued by the state of legal residence with necessaryendorsements and DOT qualifications Minimum of six monthscommercial driving experience (any industry) OR three monthscommercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage deliveryindustry required Ability to operate manual transmission preferred;may be required in specific locations Must be able to read andcommunicate in the English language – able to hold a conversation,to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond toofficial inquiries, and to enter information on reports andrecords. Compensation depends on relevant experienceand/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location,and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate forthis role is between $25.55/hour and $28.55/hour.
