Primary Purpose The Roll Off Technician transports construction and demolitiondebris, household trash, and non-hazardous industrial waste for ourmunicipal, industrial, residential and commercial customers. Essential Functions Transport roll-off containers loaded with solid waste,industrial waste, construction and demolition debris and othernon-hazardous solids from customer loading facilities to designatedlandfills, transfer stations and other treatment facilities fordisposal Transport roll-off containers from company owned and operatedbranches to designated landfills, transfer stations and othertreatment facilities for disposal Transport roll-off containers loaded with other types ofnon-hazardous industrial waste such as grit and screening, drillcuttings, contaminated soil, and more. Worth with account managersand project managers on specialized remediation and infrastructuremaintenance projects Successfully interface with company issued tablet andassociated applications including but not limited to those used forhours of service, taking photographs, updating work orders,etc Properly execute company work orders and disposal manifests bycapturing all necessary dates, times, signatures, waste types andany other necessary information in order to properly execute theassigned work Work with company dispatchers, operations managers, safetypersonnel and customer contact to execute assigned work accordingto company work plan Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspection daily andimmediately report deficiencies to on duty supervisor Operate vehicle PTO (power take off) and hydraulic hoist toprofessionally load and unload roll-off containers at companybranches and customer locations Report damaged roll-off containers and roll-off containersmissing permits, company signage, and unit number to on dutysupervisor Attend regular safety meetings, gate checks, training and othermandatory meetings assigned by on site supervisor Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Customer Service Teamwork Time Management Communications Decision Making and Problem Solving Class B Commercial Driver’s License Airbrake Endorsement Physical Requirements Sit while driving and stand while servicing products.
