Current FedEx driver or Former FedEx drivers needed FedEx Ground Palmetto, FL 34221 Only FedEx Ground Drivers Expirienced, or current looking for Route Drivers in the Palmetto/Sarasota area.

DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS

• Age 21 and older
• Valid Florida drivers license (required to be a driver…helpers only need valid ID)
• Good, safe driving record (will be verified with DMV)
• Must clear criminal background check
• Must be able to pass drug tests (both pre-employment as well as randoms once hired)
• Minimum combined 12 months commercial driving experience in last 3 years (or 5 years during past 10 years).

NOTE:

examples of commercial experience may include Uber, lawn service trailer towing, restaurant food deliveries, bread route and more.

PREFER CURRENT FEDEX DRIVERS!

! We may offer training for the ideal candidate with less than one year commercial driving experience, depending on circumstances

• MUST pass DOT physical and obtain DOT medical card
• Lift up 10-50 lbs. regularly and up to 150 lbs. as needed
• Be able to learn and understand how to use a scanner
• Must be able to work as a team with other drivers.
• Must be able to pass a test for certification, will be trained

DUTIES INCLUDE

• Positive, upbeat interaction with customers and coworkers
• Loading packages onto vehicle
• Delivery and pickup of packages to/from customers
• Learn and safely navigate streets on route
• Must be able to lift up to 149 lbs
