Class A CDL Driver Marion Masonry Materials of Ocala, LLC Ocala, FL 34479 Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers and refrigerated trailers. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service. Responsibilities Operate and drive commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers and flatbed trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials during transit. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo details in compliance with regulations. Navigate assigned routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, road conditions, and any delays encountered during transport. Ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining a high level of customer service. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailer combinations and refrigerated trailers. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Ability to load and unload cargo safely, utilizing proper techniques for heavy lifting. Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills to ensure efficient deliveries. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with dispatchers and clients. Commitment to safety protocols and regulations within the trucking industry.
