Mover/Driver Neighborhood Mover Silver Springs, FL 34488 Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mover/Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and assisting with moving services. You will play a crucial part in ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient delivery and exceptional service. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience in moving, and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and other vehicles for transporting goods. Load and unload items with care, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Assist customers during the moving process, providing excellent customer service. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations. Perform pre-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle. Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding schedules and delivery details. Handle heavy lifting of items as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used. Experience Previous experience in moving or as a delivery driver is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices. Experience operating box trucks or forklifts is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with moving. A valid driver’s license is required; a clean driving record is preferred.
