Responsibilities:
We are currently looking for a qualified Patient Transport Driver to join our team of dedicated Behavioral Health professionals working with Adults dealing with psychiatric and/or substance abuse issues. This position is PRN and will provide occassional patient transportation to and from the facility providing continuous observation, interaction, and role modeling to the patients while maintaining safety at all times. This will include pickup and drop off of patients attending group activities, transporting patients discharging from the hospital, as well as occasional local program activities. Occasional airport transport may also be required. Qualifications:
Education:
High school graduate or equivalency preferred.
Experience:
2 – 3 years’ experience in patient transport preferred
License/Certification:
Maintain a valid class specific driver’s license applicable to transporting patients. Driving record must meet or exceed the facility standards.
