Route Driver/Merchandiser DAC Total Refreshments Ocala, FL 34472 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Route Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering products to customers on a designated route while ensuring exceptional service and maintaining the integrity of our brand. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. Duties Safely operate a delivery vehicle along assigned routes to ensure timely delivery of products. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and care during transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including customer signatures and inventory counts. Communicate effectively with customers to provide information about products and services. Upsell additional products during deliveries to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales. Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety, vehicle maintenance, and route management. Perform routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Skills Strong organizational skills to manage routes efficiently and ensure timely deliveries. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading products. Experience in route driving with a solid understanding of navigation and time management. Sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively during customer interactions. Proficient math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. A disciplined approach to work, reflecting a militaristic attention to detail in all tasks performed.
