Your Responsibilities as a Landscaping Field Supervisor You are quite literally the boots on the ground. You’ll be a front-line employee who provides exceptional care. The team looks to you to oversee tasks, troubleshoot issues related to landscape maintenance at high levels of quality and service delivery. This may include other lawn care duties when not focused on Landscaping work. You must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions, doing very physical work, able to lift/carry 35-80 pounds often You ensure quality care of the project in its entirety, lead and guide the crew’s responsibilities including delegating tasks, following a planned schedule, communicating issues or needs with administrative staff, and ensuring that everything is wrapped up and set to go for the next day.

This helps make all of the above possible. Job Requirements for Landscaping Field Supervisor Prior experience in landscaping, lawn service, or similar service industries. Lead your crew with daily huddles, upholding code of conduct, setting a positive example for employees, implementing continuous improvement, and increasing cost effectiveness. Ability to interact with customers and anticipate needs. Ability to communicate with Administrative staff effectively, including regular updates, crew needs, and issues May arise.
