Autonomous Safety Trainer 2.5 2.5 out of 5 stars Miami, FL Job Summary The Autonomous Safety Trainer plays a crucial role in overseeing all day-to-day field operations, ensuring the highest levels of customer service, efficiency, and safety. This position involves providing guidance to staff, managing driver check-in processes, assigning work, and coordinating schedule rotations. The Autonomous Safety Trainer fosters a safe team-oriented environment, maintains adherence to established protocols, and handles various tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and guide field staff to maintain exceptional customer service and operational efficiency in a safe manner. Manage driver check-in processes, including readiness for the schedule, daily checklists, and assignment of daily tasks Monitor operational targets and adjust schedules for operational efficiencies. Ensure drivers comply and adhere to the procedural guidelines Observe safety practices and take corrective action when necessary. Monitor and manage break times for drivers to ensure compliance with regulations. Assist dispatch supervisors, including coordinating wheelchair assistance calls. Assist General Manager during training sessions and one-on-one meetings. Interact with officials on routine matters during shifts. Manage location under the direction of the General Manager. Ensure accurate driver performence reporting including time tracking Comfortable managing team data on Sheets or excel; including writing formulas Participate in disciplinary actions, including discharge meetings. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. CDL A or B Operator’s license with P required endorsements. 3 to 5 years supervisory experience (Nice to be in Logistics or Fleet Management) Excellent customer service skills. Ready for extensive travelling between different cities Availability to work in shifts at any hour (24 hours). Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
