Job Summary:

Sysco has immediate job openings for dependablelocal CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to safely and efficiently operatea tractor-trailer and manually unload/deliver various products(meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies,etc.) to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Ourtruck drivers build relationships with each customer using theirpositive, friendly attitude and become familiar with theiroperations to meet needs and expectations. Ability to read andspeak the English language sufficiently to converse with thegeneral public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals inthe English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to makeentries on reports and records.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements

• 21 years of age.
• Must submit to a pre-employment backgroundcheck and drug screen.
• License to drive
• valid Class ACommercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Touch freight
• may need to lift, push or move product weighing an average of40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly.
• Flexibility
• overtime as required, weekends and holidays as business needsrequire. Preferred Requirements
• 1 year customer deliveryexperience preferred.
• 6 months hand cart/hand truck experiencepreferred.
• 6 months Food and Beverage experience preferred.
• 2years consistent work history preferred.
