The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism. Duties Operate various types of vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to deliver goods to designated locations. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Assist with loading and unloading of cargo, which may involve heavy lifting. Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle, performing routine inspections and reporting any maintenance issues. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. Navigate assigned routes efficiently, utilizing GPS and maps as needed. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper handling of materials during loading and unloading processes. Occasionally operate forklifts for loading/unloading tasks as required. Experience Previous experience in commercial driving or route driving is preferred. Familiarity with moving services or courier operations is a plus. Strong customer service skills are essential for interacting with clients professionally. Experience in warehouse settings is beneficial, particularly in logistics or inventory management. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for cargo handling. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
