The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while operating various types of commercial vehicles. Candidates should be comfortable driving different types of trucks, including flatbeds, tankers, and heavy haul vehicles, while also being familiar with warehouse operations. Duties Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring proper handling of materials. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience operating various types of trucks, including flatbed, tanker, heavy haul, paratransit, or limousine preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
