Job Description; Work in an exciting Marina Environment. Private Marina in the Heart of Aventura looking for a Full-Time Dock Attendant. Position is outside, assisting Owners and Guests with various tasks. Medium physical and lifting tasks. MUST be reliable. Primarily Daytime and Weekends and Holidays required. Service Industry background, Valid drivers license a must, basic boating skills, and knowledge is good, however training will be provided. Position is very much like a upscale Hotel “Bellman/Valet work. Full time benefits package available.

Job Type:

Full-time Driving Golf Carts within property boundaries, pick up/drop off of owners and guests, from parking lot and slips. Assisting with luggage, groceries, Yacht products, misc. up to 75 lbs. Basic maintenance of the Carts, clean/wash, change tires when necessary, fuel, check oil levels, report to GM any other required needed maintenance. Responsible to maintain the Marina Basin from floating debris, using nets and waste cans. Pick up any Garbage seen around the Marina. Learn/execute “Pump-out” of the waste tank for any required scheduled need from vessels daily. Assist owners, crew, guests at each slip as required, when vessels leave, and/or return to slips. Ensure finger pier, and Main Promenade is free and clear of any/all items that may encumber access or egress to and from of personnel and general public. Assist Marina Engineer with any necessary repairs that are required and or needed, which will include Electrical, pilings, fenderboards, ect. Act as security guard at all times to ensure the safety of owners, crew, and guests. (this will be part of training) Clean and Maintain the Management office during scheduled hours as needed/required. Take care of all equipment, Carts, radios, remote gate clickers, portable cell phone, etc. Great Communication essential through out the day with Management in office! Assists with enforcement of rules and regulations. Keeps the marina dock clear of debris, and removes and disposes of refuse, waste oil and other debris in accordance with environmental and OSHA regulations.
