The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and goods while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to maintain a clean and organized vehicle. Responsibilities Safely operate various types of vehicles, including limousines, vans, and buses, to transport passengers or goods as required. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their comfort throughout the journey. Maintain a thorough knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations to ensure timely arrivals at destinations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules, delays, or any issues that may arise during transport. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met. Assist with heavy lifting of luggage or equipment as needed during pickups and drop-offs. Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times, adhering to company policies regarding cleanliness and maintenance. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with passengers. Valid commercial driving license (CDL) preferred for operating larger vehicles. Experience in limousine, paratransit, or bus driving is highly desirable. Ability to drive safely under various weather conditions and navigate through different traffic scenarios. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with passengers and team members. Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks when necessary. Strong organizational skills to maintain vehicle cleanliness and manage schedules efficiently.
