The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles. Duties Operate a variety of vehicles including flatbeds, dump trucks, tankers, and refrigerated trailers. Perform route driving to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries. Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed. Ensure proper handling of materials, especially when operating specialized equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks. Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations. Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements. Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of manual transmission operation. Familiarity with various types of trailers including tractor-trailers and refrigerated units is preferred. Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
