The ideal candidate will support the kitchen staff in various tasks to ensure smooth operations and maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This role is essential for creating a positive dining experience for our guests while assisting in the preparation and presentation of meals. Responsibilities Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and cooking ingredients as directed by the chef. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Ensure all food items are stored properly and adhere to safety regulations. Help with inventory management by receiving deliveries and organizing supplies in the storage areas. Support the kitchen team during service by preparing ingredients and plating dishes as needed. Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Take deliveries when needed with company vehicle Experience Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with basic cooking techniques and food safety practices is a plus. Skills in operating kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and grills are beneficial. Experience with driving various vehicles (e.g., box trucks, shuttle driving) may be advantageous for potential delivery tasks. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
