Transportation Driver Well Living Group Home Lake Worth, FL Job Details Temporary | Part-time $17 an hour 10 hours ago Benefits Paid training Qualifications Working with people with disabilities Driver’s License Driving Communication skills Entry level Full Job Description Overview Well Living Group Home is currently hiring a Part-Time Van Transportation Driver to safely transport persons with disabilities, specifically behavior clients, to and from adult day training programs in the West Palm Beach, Lake Worth, and Loxahatchee areas. This is a temporary, split-shift position, ideal for someone seeking steady, part-time hours with a break between shifts.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a 12 passenger van for client transportation Pick up and drop off individuals with disabilities (including behavioral clients) to designated day programs Maintain consistent routes and schedules with punctuality Ensure client safety and proper use of seatbelts and safety restraints Assist clients in and out of the vehicle when needed Report incidents, delays, or behavioral concerns promptly Keep the vehicle clean and report maintenance needs Complete and submit daily trip logs Follow all company safety protocols and state transportation guidelines
Requirements:
Minimum age: 25 years Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record Must pass a Level II background screening Experience transporting individuals with disabilities or behavioral needs (preferred) Ability to lift 25-30 lbs and assist passengers as necessary Strong communication, patience, and professionalism Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-focused
