Duties:

• Safely and efficiently transport goods and materials to designated locations
• Load and unload items from trucks, ensuring proper handling and secure placement
• Operate a variety of vehicles and equipment, such as vans, box trucks, pallet jacks.
• Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
• Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery receipts

Skills:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Experience driving commercial vehicles, such as vans or box trucks
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
• Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping and safe handling of goods
