Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Refuse/Vac Foreman to join our dynamic team at Environmental Products Group (EPG). The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in the refuse and/or vacuum equipment sector, with a proven track record of technical proficiency and leadership. This role involves performing advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on refuse and vac equipment while guiding and mentoring a team of technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on refuse and vacuum equipment, including Elgin, Vactor, and Labrie lines. Lead, train, and mentor a team of technicians to ensure high-quality service and safety standards. Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with service managers to prioritize workloads and meet customer expectations. Maintain accurate service records, including work orders and parts inventories. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations in all operations.

Requirements:

Required:

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in the refuse and/or vacuum equipment sector.

Preferred:

Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Preferred:

Manufacturer certifications from brands such as Elgin, Vactor, Labrie, or other relevant refuse/vac equipment providers. Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
