The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting roll-off containers to and from various job sites, ensuring safe and efficient operations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of daily duties. Responsibilities Operate a roll-off truck to transport containers to designated locations. Load and unload containers safely, ensuring proper handling of materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs for mileage, fuel usage, and service performed. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle. Perform basic mechanical checks on the truck as needed to ensure optimal performance. Experience Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with roll-off trucks or similar heavy vehicles. Familiarity with flatbed trucks and tractor-trailer operations is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform minor repairs and maintenance on vehicles. Ability to handle heavy lifting and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading materials. Previous experience as a delivery driver is advantageous, showcasing skills in navigating routes efficiently.
