This position is a safety-sensitive position and requires a clearmind and diligence. The employee has the responsibility for his/hersafety as well as the safety of others

  • -KeyResponsibilities
  • Loading, hauling, and delivering food waste onintra
  • and interstate routes with multiple stops ranging from 15-25per day by routing determined by the Company.

Delivery equipmentranges from 30-45′ open-top dump trailers (combination vehicles)across a regional footprint determined by management.

Operate manualand automatic transmission vehicles by DOT requirements as well asall local, state, and federal laws.

Operate manual or electricpallet jack as needed.

Utilize a pressure washer to rinse bins andcontainers and leave all client locations clean and free ofdebris.

Perform pre

  • and post-trip inspections.

Typical use of handtools for basic repairs of company bins and equipment.

Maintenanceof basic truck equipment and overall cleanliness ofequipment.

Utilize the electronic logging system for DOT driver logsand as otherwise required.

Maintain paperwork (contamination andservice tickets, truck maintenance, etc.) and submit alldocumentation to the appropriate party.

Regularly communicate withcustomers and vendors to ensure seamless operations.

Communicatewith the corporate office/operations team regularly for allservice, equipment, and customer service-related issues.

Report allaccidents and injuries immediately to the safety manager.

Ability towork flexible hours based on seasonality, up to 60 hours in a 7-dayweek or 70 hours in 8 days.

Attend and participate in weekly safetycalls, trainings, or briefings.

Basic usage of computer and cellphone for training, communication, and expense managementRegardlessof any regularly scheduled service route assignment, drivers may atany time be scheduled to work a different assignment, includinginterstate routes. All drivers should expect operating ininterstate commerce as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Class A CDLLicense (self-certified as a Non-Excepted Interstate driver withthe state of issuance)Clean MVR and PSPMust be at least 23 years ofage and have a minimum of 2 years full-time verifiabletractor-trailer experience OR 21 years of age with 1 year oftractor-trailer experience IF a graduate from a Truck DrivingSchool or 1 year of Military experience.

Stable work historyMustpass a pre-employment drug screen.

Physical Requirements:

Regularlylifting, pulling, and/or pushing up to 70 pounds, bending,stooping, twisting, shoveling, or reaching overhead.

Able toregularly pull/roll up to 300 pounds when working withtotes.

Ability to manage unpleasant odors from foodwaste/farms.

Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
