In this role, you will be responsible for transporting Roofing Materials to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and have experience in route driving, making deliveries with a focus on efficiency and professionalism. Responsibilities Safely operate Company truck 2500 or 3500 to deliver Dumpsters and deliver materials Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at each stop. Load and unload items, performing heavy lifting as necessary while adhering to safety protocols. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients. Prepare the area for dropping off dumpsters Take photos before & After dumpster delivery Maintain accurate records of deliveries. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding any delays or issues encountered during deliveries. Assist in material shop inventory Continuing education on roofing materials and safety protocols Qualifications Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a courier/moving role is preferred. Ability to operate vehicles with a trailer is required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Capable of performing heavy lifting tasks as required by the job. Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems is required. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required. Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process.
