The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and excellent driving skills, particularly in operating various types of vehicles including trucks and trailers. Responsibilities Operate and driving a Ram 2500 truck for hotshot Ensure the safe and timely delivery of freight to designated locations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Handle loading and unloading of goods as necessary, ensuring proper securing of cargo during transport. Operate manual transmission vehicles when required. Requirements Proven experience in truck driving or as a delivery driver is preferred. Familiarity with route driving and the ability to navigate using GPS or maps. Experience operating refrigerated trailers is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required. Compensation Drivers will be paid 27% per load after fuel Preference Applicants with a ready-to-deploy two-person team will be given priority.
