- On Premise Relief CDL is a touch freight position and is responsible for delivering and rotating stock.
Also responsible for merchandising shelves, racks, equipment, and displays to Company standards. What your day will look like:
Relieve in the absence of the Delivery Merchandiser-On Premise in performing all the daily dutiesTransports and unloads products to retail outletsResponsible for merchandising all product inside the outlet to Company standardsWorks in partnership with the Sales Supervisor to execute the picture of success. Establish positive relationships with all customers, as well as providing superior customer serviceProvides feedback and recommendations to leadership on competitive threats and business opportunities as they ariseAbility to work with all functional team membersSets up merchandise and sales promotion displaysCommunicates any store level issue to managementComplies with DOT rules for driving purposesMaintains rapport with customersCollection of any breakage or out of date product, including empty shells and palletsAccurate accounting for all cases and customer transactionsEnsure proper care of product, equipment, and route settlement dailyDeliver, rotate, and merchandise product on shelf, displays and all cold equipmentMaintains backstock in an organized mannerKeeps coolers, racks, and shelves cleanAssist with training, coaching, succession planning of any delivery merchandiser traineesBuild strong relationships with customer base across assigned customersPerforms appropriate duties as assigned by managementWhat you need to succeed:
