Route Driver – Macon, GA 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars 300 Raines Avenue, Macon, GA 31206 The Macon and surrounding areas Route Driver position is responsible for delivering products to customer locations and maintaining superior customer service. This position is 100% touch freight. New Drivers make $26.25 per hour during training. Once you are released on your own you will make a flat hourly rate plus case rate! We also offer abilities to earn extra income through incentive and safety programs. This position is Monday – Friday with varying dispatch and end times depending on the days route. Route drivers in this area earn an average of $1600-1700 per week.
Qualifications:
Clean driving record. Must be able to work with limited supervision. Possess a current Commercial Driver License/Class A. Ability to unload product of varying weights at customer locations using hand trucks and ramps. Have a professional and courteous manner with people. You are the face of the company for our customers! Good attendance. Reading, writing and math skills. Organizational skills to maintain daily logs and accurate reporting.
