The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to operate various types of equipment within a distribution center environment. Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload materials using forklifts and other heavy equipment as necessary. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation of all deliveries. Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and order picking. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA safety standards at all times. Assist in heavy lifting and moving of products as required during loading and unloading processes. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining high-quality service standards. Skills Proficiency in operating forklifts and other heavy equipment is essential. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes within a distribution center environment. Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems for efficient order processing. Strong ability in order picking, ensuring accuracy in fulfilling customer orders. Knowledge of OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the job demands. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members.
