The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle various driving conditions. Duties Operate vehicles, including vans and trucks, to deliver products to designated locations. Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Perform manual lifting of heavy items as required during loading and unloading processes. Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns professionally. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Navigate various routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules. Assist with warehouse duties when not on the road, including organizing inventory and supporting moving operations. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred. Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading procedures. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the day. Proficient in using pallet jacks and forklifts for material handling tasks. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Previous experience in moving or logistics is advantageous but not mandatory. Must be able to pass background checks and adhere to safety regulations at all times.
