Full Job Description Duties:

• Safely operate a van to haul clean and dirty linens from 300+ properties, from Savannah’s Historic District, to Tybee Island.
• Transport linens from one location to another in a timely and efficient manner.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of yourself, other drivers, and pedestrians.
• Load and unload linens using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Inspect vehicle before and after each trip to ensure they are in proper working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery details.
• Communicate effectively with manager to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.

Skills:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Strong communication skills to interact with manager and team members.
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
• Physical stamina to load and unload linens as needed.
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping.
