Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Jockey Driver to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for moving trailers and equipment around the yard and ensuring efficient operations within the warehouse environment. A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a drug test are required.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate yard trucks to move trailers and containers within the warehouse premises. Assist in loading and unloading trailers as needed. Conduct regular inspections of yard trucks and report any maintenance or safety issues. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and efficient operations. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license (must be able to provide proof). Ability to pass a drug test. Previous experience as a jockey driver or in a similar role preferred. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary. Must have at least 2 years of experience working as a Jockey driver.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to [60lbs] as needed. Must be comfortable operating machinery and equipment.
