JobSummary:
The Truck Driver should be well-organized and requirehauling various materials, including liquid asphalt cement (A/C),emulsion, cutback, calcium chloride, and Ballast-Star in a safe andresponsible manner. This position will require the driver to beable to operate numerous types of vehicles and equipmentoccasionally including class B vehicles as well.
EssentialFunctions:
1. Safety always wins. Safely transport and delivermaterials to designated locations, adhering to all DOT regulationsand company policies. 2. Protect family and friends. Operate ClassA vehicles with tanker endorsements; ability to handle hazardousmaterials preferred. 3. Committed to serve. Load and unloadmaterials, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo. 4.Ownership and caring. Perform routine vehicle inspections andmaintenance checks to ensure road readiness. 5. Measurement.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.6. Respect and engage. Communicate effectively with dispatch andcustomers to ensure timely deliveries. 7. Adhere to all safetyprotocols and participate in safety training programs.
Requirements, Education and Experience:
1. Valid Class A CommercialDriver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record with tankerendorsement required; Hazmat endorsement preferred. 2. Minimum of 2years of experience operating Class A vehicles, preferably in theconstruction or paving industry. Ability to operate lowbed andClass B vehicles as needed. 3. Knowledge of asphalt materials andpaving operations is highly desirable. 4. Knowledge of DOTregulations and safety compliance. 5. Ability to effectivelycommunicate and collaborate with team members and supervisors. 6.Excellent time management, strong attention to detail andcommitment to safety. 7. Willingness to work flexible hours,including weekends or overtime as needed. 8. Willingness to undergodrug screenings and background checks as required. 9. Authorized towork in the U.S.

Travel:
Position mayrequire up to 100% travel by personal vehicle to offices throughoutthe state of New York, and New England based on the needs of thebusiness.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Heavy work thatincludes moving objects up to 50 lb. or more. This position workson or near moving mechanical parts and loud equipment. Requires theability to sit or stand for long periods of time as well aslifting, pulling, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, walking,reaching, driving, and repetitive motion. On occasion the job willrequire going out in the field and various plants and quarries.
