Summary:

As a Class A truck driver, you will be responsible fordelivering our merchandise to various locations. You will be makinglocal routes with multiple stops a day and going on a 2-day run ifrequired, and you will be home every weekend. You will ensure thesafe and timely delivery of all products to our customers’locations, while adhering to transportation regulatory compliance.

Thishourly, non-exempt position pays from $25.75 to $28.75 per hour,with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hiresusually earn between $64,216.25 and $82,362.5 annually, or more,depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.

Responsibilities:

Deliver countertop and flooring material safelyand efficiently. Assist in the loading, unloading, and propersecuring of cargo. Skillfully position blocks, ties, straps/chains,and binders for cargo securement. Maintain a constant state ofalertness and operate vehicles safely at all times. Exhibitpatience and a polite demeanor towards fellow road users.

Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills. Adaptto changing conditions, prioritize a customer-centric approach, anduphold a commitment to delivering quality service. Workindependently while maintaining focus. Perform additional duties asrequired or requested.

Requirements:

Valid Class A Driver’sLicense. Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience withheavy-duty vehicles. Ability to haul and deliver freight in bothintrastate and interstate. Will be on 2-day runs 70% of the timeand will be home every weekend. Comfortable with making localdeliveries with multiple stops. Successful completion of drivingtest and all DOT pre-employment requirements. Safety-minded withproficiency in maintaining a legal and accurate logbook. Capable ofunderstanding and interpreting bill of landing/picking sheets.

Previous experience utilizing an iPad or tablet is preferred.

Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. This role has the followingphysical demands: Generate 137lbs of vertical push/pull force. Ableto lift and transfer 65lbs. Able to carry at least 30lbs the lengthof the truck bed. Able to ascend and descend multiple-rung ladder.

Able to frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouch. Ableto work at elevated height of 72″ above the ground while assemblingand disassembling strap, ties, ratchets, nuts, bolts, and othersecuring or fastening equipment. Able to work at lowered height of6″ above the ground while assembling and disassembling strap, ties,ratchets, nuts, bolts, and other securing or fastening equipment.

This is a safety-sensitive position.
