This role is responsible for managing the Transportation Section, driving the facility vehicles, cleaning and preventative maintenance to vehicles, event setups and breakdowns, and assisting residents, staff, and guests as needed. Additionally, this role will be responsible for overseeing all Driver positions to include training, scheduling work tasks and evaluating.

Primary Responsibilities:

Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs. Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.). Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van. Schedule, coordinate and document routine vehicle maintenance. Clean and wash vehicle. May perform housekeeping functions as directed. Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required Maintain a valid driver’s license and must have and maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) CPR-AED certification required within 90 days of hire date.
