- -We are currently seeking aPackage Delivery Driver in Decatur, Illinois.

Thisposition is responsible for the safe/efficient delivery of packageproducts locally and out of town to a variety of customers
- -Package drivers at times will also be responsible for theefficient selecting, handling and loading/unloading products ofvarious sizes, weight and packaging. Needs a constant focus oncleanliness inside and outside of the facility and also of thetrucks

Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Trip DOT truckinspectionsReporting
- to the immediate
- Supervisor any defectsfound
- on the truck/trailer during inspection.
Follows all DOTregulations and obeys all rules of the road.
Maintains all documentsrequired either by the company or DOT
- -Utilizes electronicdevices/delivery documents.
Loading of package products safelyonto
- trucks/trailers.
Delivery to local and out of towncustomers
- -Move various sizes/weights of package products by handor by mechanical means such as handcarts/pallet jack forktrucks.
Transfer of products from package containers to customertanks/drums.
Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks,checking in products corresponding to BOL’s.
Read customer workorders to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributedand/or shipped.
Move materials and items from receiving or storageareas to shipping or to other designated areas.
Mark materials withidentifying information on row cards.
Record amounts of materials oritems received or distributed on work orders and BOL’s.
Operatesfork trucks/electric pallet jacks/shrink wrap machine in a safematter

Hours of work are determined by thePackage Dispatch Supervisor
- -Core Hours include: 5:00 AM
- 3:00PM
- 6:00 AM
- 4:00 PM
- 7:00AM
- 5:00 PM
- There may be additional hours required based on thevolume of loads or if there are any customer emergencies that mayarise
