The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to regulations, and the ability to manage time effectively. The Truck Driver will operate different types of vehicles, including flatbed trucks, roll-off trucks, and refrigerated trailers. Duties Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and tankers, in compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure safety and efficiency. Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and cargo deliveries as required by law. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Ensure that all cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit. Adhere to company policies regarding safety, customer service, and operational procedures. Experience Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL). Familiarity with various types of trucks including flatbed, roll-off, tanker, refrigerated trailers, and manual transmission vehicles. Experience in load unloading procedures and safe driving practices in diverse weather conditions. Strong knowledge of federal transportation regulations and safety standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to plan routes effectively for timely deliveries.
